Tanini Kinabatangan, operated by Nasalis Larvatus Tours, is located in Kampung Bilit along the Kinabatangan River. The lodge offers jungle treks, river swimming, bird watching, night jungle tours, and excursions to nearby logging sites and timber mills. Wildlife includes pygmy elephants, gibbons, proboscis monkeys, exotic birds, wild spiders, and pythons. Guests meet at the AV room for a wildlife presentation. Professional jungle guides are available for tours to the Bilit Ox-Bow Lake. Dining options include dishes such as 'Gulai Ayam' and 'Mee Goreng Tuaran' from a variety menu. The lodge is accessible via a country road with secondary forest, plantations, small villages, and occasional local shops on either side of the road. Friendly boat captain will transfer guests across the river where you will begin your wildlife adventure.
